YBN user, Paris Yates of Welcome to Paris Spa Salon has been up to big things lately! Not one to rest on his laurels, Yates covers every angle of his business and strives for constant improvement and innovation. Among other things, he recently expanded his building due to his booming business!
Yates is on the cutting edge of business. Currently, he is in the process of adding a skincare line to his services. He has recently added a boutique to the salon, as well. The boutique features several items like sunglasses, hair accessories, purses, etc. Despite current economic conditions, he has had to hire two new assistants!
For Yates and his team, the numbers speak for themselves! Welcome to Paris boasts impressive ratios in retail to service at 15%. Their retention rate is an astounding 90 to 100%! His first assistant, Candace Countryman has recently been put on the floor. In her short time on the floor, Candace has achieved a retention rate of 100%. Individually, Paris enjoys a rebooking rate of 90% and Kelly is 80%. The salon as a whole has a rebooking rate of 86%.
Yates takes full advantage of all the current technology available to his business. He has found great success on the website, Yelp. He books his appointments online and gets referrals from the Yelp website as well. He usually averages two new clients a month from Yelp and an additional two clients per month using Yahoo local.
Yates realizes the importance of higher education for himself and his staff. He has implemented a scholarship fund for a student who is in need and encourages higher learning for his staff members. On customer appreciation night, Yates and his team raised an impressive amount of money benefiting all.
